Tshenolo - a Revelation!

I am a chosen one. A start of something new in my family. The first. First child. First grandchild. First everything to my parents, grandparents, and uncles. I am precious. A jewel. My ancestors' precious gem. I am every beautiful thing under the sun.

God blessed my family with my life when they least expected it. I can imagine the confusion and the stress that my mom and our whole family felt when they had to prepare for my birth. But the time came for my mom to give birth. And my grandmother; she held me and saw kindness. Hence the name Mosa. And therefore, I will carry myself with grace and kindness for as long as I live. Everything I do will be done with grace and respect. It's my brand - it's who I am.

My aunt who named me Mamello held me and saw exactly that - Percistance. Resilience. That was her way of telling me how to get through life. In this world, in this journey that I am walking, I have to be patient and resilient. To carry myself with strength. God has given me this name so that when life gets difficult, I remember who I am and I fall back on that.


Tshenolo - a Revelation.

My grandfather have me this name after I revealed something that was important to the whole family. An omen. Its my purpose to reveal - with or without intention. My guides and ancestors' purpose is to change lives and to reveal to people what they need to know. To lead people to their healing and to their light. To be a hero.

I am blessed. I am powerful. I am strong. I am victorious. I am a force.

 Often in life, we do not realise what we have until it's broken or until we've lost it. As a child, my greatest memories had you in them. My worst memories, too. If my life was a movie, you were both my hero and the monster in the story. I remember you for a lot of things. It's very sad that today, I'm left with a lot of pain, resentment and questions, and very little positive memories and excitement when it comes to you. Remember how you always carried me on your neck and you'd walk me to school and to church? Sometimes you took care of me while mama was at work and you did it so well. You were everything to me.
